It seems that each and every significant technology company is definitely focusing on autonomous transport. That auto organizations are already offering cars with semi-autonomous characteristics which systems are currently getting to the point they are less dangerous than human beings driving. One particular major drink company has now reached a self-driving a car truck to provide beer off their producing center to 1 of their large industrial environments .. Yahoo has nearly a zillion kilometers of autonomous driving a car in CA and well over that in Nevada now. Yep, no folks the vehicle and I also imagine this is the future. Of course, if you travel for a residing; chauffeur-driven car, taxi, shipping and delivery, pickup truck, coach driver, nicely, let's just say your days are numbered - terrifying imagined indeed, but this is the future of job - it's heading not to heck but to the robots.
Indeed, I read an interesting article in the premier Electric powered Vehicle on the internet reports outlet "Charged" titled; "US Postal Support commissions prototypes for possible upcoming connect-in automobiles," written by Charles Morris on October 14, 2016, which stated:
"The USPS has selected a design from Indiana-based maker AM Common (best known for the Humvee army vehicle and its civilian cousin, the Hummer) as part of its Upcoming Era Shipping Vehicle system, under which several prototype designs will likely be created, developed and analyzed over an 18-calendar month period. AM Common will create a series of prototype vehicles that seek to supply 'fuel effectiveness and absolutely nothing-emission capacity.' The Postal Services determines production needs and long term vehicle replacement honor(s) following prototype testing."
This is wonderful, but the USPS has to get with the program. The USPS has to believe with new eyesight - these automobiles should be autonomous and deliver the mail without folks. Why not? You see, these cars go on the same exact route every day, they stop at every mailbox with a precise location, every day. The car owner opens the mail-package and sets in the postal mail - besides even an easy robot can do that job and the driverless autonomous postal mail jeep can get it there, on-time, each day, rain or sparkle.
Perhaps this helps the U. S. Postal Services from losing billions of bucks per quarter? And, don't worry about the work deficits, we can use attrition and allow early on retirement for the postal carriers. We are speaking about more quickly email delivery, reduce expenses, no price increases in stamps, and excellent use of some tremendous automatic, autonomous car modern technology - it's the ideal program for autonomous transport automatic technology. Feel with this.
